SEWA (Seashore Employees Welfare Association)
The Seashore Employees Welfare Association (SEWA), established in 1991, is a voluntary welfare initiative of Seashore Group employees. Founded on the values of compassion, solidarity, and mutual support, SEWA has supported employees and their families for over three decades. Its main activities include:
Providing interest-free loans to employees during times of financial hardship.
Offering medical and charitable assistance for critical needs and emergencies.
Extending financial support to the families of deceased employees.
Since inception, SEWA has provided financial assistance exceeding QAR 3.9 million to the families of 34 deceased employees, reflecting its ongoing commitment to employee welfare and solidarity. Additionally, SEWA disburses approximately QAR 2.5 million annually in short-term interest-free loans and has already contributed QAR 1.8 million towards medical and charitable support.
